July 2006 - Improved Performance for Heat Exchangers
Midland Wire Cordage Ltd (MWC) are pleased to announce the formation of their Heat Transfer Division to develop heat transfer technology and to provide an improved service to their customers.

The project team is led by John Rogers, who has been involved with the design and development of turbulence promoters, as well as heat exchanger design, for over 30 years.
John is joined by Dr Nazar Abdelkarim who has a PhD in Engineering from Loughborough University.
Aston University is represented by Dr John Brammer, a specialist in heat transfer and computational modelling.

The company have been manufacturing innovative spiral wound wire turbulators since 1968 and heat transfer sales have grown steadily over the years and these new developments will play their part in continuing this growth.
Midland Wire Cordage Co Ltd (MWC) was founded in 1875 to manufacture high quality wire ropes in galvanised steel, stainless steel, etc. The Company is renowned for the quality and expertise that can be offered to customers having a complete bespoke requirement.
