July 2008 - New Head of Ideas and Innovation at MWC
Having completed our Knowledge Transfer Partnership project with Aston University as Research Associate, Midland Wire Cordage is pleased to announce that Dr Nazar Abdelkarim has joined the company as Head of Ideas and Innovation.
Shortly before completing the KTP Dr Abdelkarim was awarded a grant, funded by the International Wire Machinery Association and named after the Associations founder and general secretary John Hogg, to attend Wire Düsseldorf 2008.
Eight winners, including Dr Abdelkarim, received commemorative certificates from the President of the IWMA, Hans-Georg Queins and all recipients were provided with season tickets to the exhibition by Friedrich Kehrer of Messe Düsseldorf, project director of wire 2008.
